AOL denies Red Hat rumours

AOL Time Warner has refused to comment on further speculation that it might consider investing in Red Hat, rather than acquiring the Linux manufacturer.

Andrew Weinstein, a spokesperson for AOL Time Warner in the US, told ZDNet Australia said the company was not in negotiations with Red Hat, nor had it been in negotiations with the company.

He refused to comment on speculation that AOL Time Warner might consider investing in Red Hat, instead of buying the company.
