The Linux.conf.au conference has published its draft programme in true Linux style-with a request for readers to report bugs. Jeremy Malcolm, the lawyer who defended Joseph McNichol in the infamous T3 spamming lawsuit, is giving a talk on problems in open source licensing, and Jeff "hemos" Bates, executive editor of Slashdot, is also giving a talk, with the topic to be announced. The first two days of the conference will be dedicated to independent mini-conferences and meetings. Linux.Conf.au is a roaming conference for Linux users which began three years ago as the Conference of Australian Linux Users, before it was renamed. The conference will run from Monday January 20 to Sunday January 27.
