Patents and copy right laws are a scurge towards real developement in the Western economies and should be severely restricted or even abolished all together. If you have an idea but not the resources to develope it, let some one who can do it. If you have the resources to develope an idea but choose not to, then you loose the patent/copy rights to that idea...plain and simple.
