Sorry guys but clicking on each picture and having the page reload is a real pain.
Can't you embed a nice AJAX photo gallery in there?

sadly it has been thta way forever and they have had multiple people complain about it, doesnt seem like they have any intention of changing it

    xfce? Anonymous -- 13/03/09

I've tried out xubuntu and must say: ok, it is xfce, with a lot of gnome utilities. the login manager is kde (kdm) and the installer is also gnome...
I just want to show, it isn't 100% xfce and that can be rather annoying...
(ok, afaik this currently also isn't possible, but if I'm wrong please correct me)

    XFCE 4.4.2 Anonymous -- 14/03/09

I have just downloaded and run the latest Xubuntu 8.10 installer. Sorry to say that it comes with XFCE 4.4.2, NOT 4.6.

In fact, you have to add the intrepid-backports repository to even get 4.6 (included in Jaunty or 9.04).

They upgrade later Anonymous -- 14/03/09 (in reply to #320125638)

Later on in the images, you see them upgrade to Xfce 4.6.

Maybe you should have looked at them all first.

    zenwalk? tony -- 14/03/09

It doesn't compare to Zenwalk. If you really want to experience XFCE and the real power and simplicity of linux, give Zenwalk a try.
