    3G USB Support Bruce -- 27/10/09

Unfortunately I had to fall back from Karmic Beta to Jaunty because of a bug that fixed access to the mass storage device in USB 3G dongles but dropped access to the serial device (modem). Hope they get it fixed in time for release

Swap space at end of disk? Patanjali -- 02/11/09

If installing to SSDs, swap space location is immaterial.

However, on a HDD, the further the swap space is from the apps, the more time penalty it imposes, considering that when it is used, it imposes delays anyway.

If a whole large partition is being used, it would be better to have swap near the start. If two, in the middle.
