Photo gallery: A view of Microsoft Vista


Two standalone features currently available for Windows XP, Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Media Player 11, get their own Windows Vista versions. The changes are subtle. In Internet Explorer, for example, there's better ActiveX control within the new operating system that's not available in the Windows XP edition.

    I thought the slideshow of the Microsoft Vista was a good overview of the entire operating system. The pictures made it more clear to visually image the text. However additional information about the different versions would have been helpful.
