Minimise all windows instantly in Vista

Cluttered desktop? To instantly minimise all your open windows, press the Windows key and the letter M. This 26 second video demonstrates the action. This shortcut also works with Windows XP.

In order to watch video content you need to enable javascript and install Flash player version 8 or above.

We spoke to Microsoft Australia's Paul Randle for these tips and tricks.

    This is not a new feature. To minimize all your windows on an XP machine you press the windows key + D.

    but Win D hides everything, including some desktop gadgets, while Win M really only minimalize all windows, which is better for that task. thx for the video.
