Mandriva 2010 beta: Screenshots

In the past few days French-based Linux company Mandriva has released a beta version of its upcoming Mandriva 2010 Linux distribution. We took it for a spin in a virtualised VMware environment.

    I'm very impressed. It works extremely well for a beta version even on my old laptop where only Windows XP runs reasonably well. Even 3D effects work just fine. BTW my desktop looks a lot more pretty than the one on these screenshots. Probably you have selected one of the two other options than KDE.

    But why does it have to refresh the whole page when clicking on the image thumbnails? Only the image area should be updated. This makes a bad slide show experience. Real bad.
