Debian GNU/Linux 5.0: Screenshots By Chris Duckett, ZDNet.com.au February 17, 2009 URL: http://www.zdnet.com.au/insight/software/soa/Debian-GNU-Linux-5-0-Screenshots/0,139023769,339294981,00.htm
Debian GNU/Linux 5.0, codenamed "Lenny", was released over the weekend; in this gallery we take you through the install process and basic desktop functions. After booting from a minimal CD image, we were greeted with the venerable Debian install options. Leaving the textual install to the purists and clinically insane, we opted to take the less brave "Graphical install" option. At this point we were intrigued by the screenshot button in the lower left corner of the dialog. It indeed takes a screenshot, but where will it store it when it is about to format the disk? A similar situation exists for Thunderbird which is known as IceDove.
