roundup Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was in Sydney to meet with key customers and partners, and give corporate executives the Redmond view of "innovation with impact".

During his two-day visit, which ended yesterday, Ballmer revealed the many challenges Microsoft faces. Company Chairman and chief software architect Bill Gates is also touring Asia-Pacific countries.

Ballmer will be in China until Thursday.
