New tool for IT Managers

Do you ever wonder what your competitors and peers are up to? What strategies they're thinking about implementing, what problems they're struggling with?

IT Manager is a new channel at ZDNet Australia which is all about bringing together Australia's IT professional community.

The idea is to provide those working in the industry with content which is highly focussed on subjects relevant to the IT managers of Australian companies, and will assist them on a day-to-day basis.

IT Manager provides a forum for our readers to share their knowledge and opinions. That's part of what a community is all about--being able to communicate your own views, as well as read what others think. Write a column, let us know about a rumour, tell us what you think is going right, and where it's all going horribly wrong.

IT Manager takes the pain out of knowing what is going on. If you get to the end of the day with a 'to do' list which is twice as long as when you turned up to the office at 6am, you know you don't have time to be surfing Web sites at random.

Solve this problem by turning to IT Manager, which provides you with the latest enterprise-level information about strategy, technology, management and trends. The tips, analysis, case studies and opinions from people in industry, will keep you in the IT loop.

ZDNet Australia's IT Manager is a community of people who are facing the same daily challenges that you are. It's a resource full of information you want to have, without having to sift through hundreds of product announcements, press releases and e-mails to get to.

It's also a forum for IT professionals to discuss the issues which are facing them in getting their jobs done, where they see technologies heading, and how this all fits into the Australian picture.
