Publisher’s description

IntrospeQt iCapture Desktop is a simple document capture solution designed to effectively capture, classify and convert paper documents into searchable electronic formats. From document source to storage, it offers compelling features to handle ad-hoc to complex batch scan, manual to automatic sort and index, and document search. Documents can be scanned at source in color, black and white or grayscale and converted into electronic formats such as JPG, PNG, BMP and TIF. Document recognition modes such as document position, barcodes and patch codes can be used to automatically separate documents. Documents can be indexed with both simple and guided indexing. Indexed document images stored in the iCapture storage system can be easily searched, retrieved and even converted to PDF formats for circulation.

Escape chasing paper trails, dealing with missing files or poring through filing cabinets. Do away with unnecessary photocopying or postage of paper files across locations. IntrospeQt iCapture also offers connectors to leading Document Management Systems (DMS) such as FileNet, Alfresco and SharePoint. Version 1.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.</P>
