Image - Pdf+
is a viewer for Portable Document Format (or PDF) files. With Pdf+ you canview the text, drawn using the fonts embedded in the document.view line drawings and bit maps in the document, in full color if your device supports color.browse the document, and go to a specific page.zoom in and out to maximize the amount of text and graphics you can read on the screen.hide the toolbar, the tool band and the scroll bars to maximize the screen area.scroll up and down the columns in the text.search for strings in the text of the document.print the text, line drawings and bit maps in the document.copy selected parts of the text to other applications.view and follow bookmarks.follow links to other pages in the document.follow URL's, if you have a web browser installed (not always on the Series 5 and Geofox). choose recently opened documents from a list. read files protected with an user password.Pdf+ optimises itself automatically for viewing on the Revo/Diamond Mako, the Series 7/netBook and the Osaris.Pdf+ can display a large number of PDF 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 files. Pdf+ silently ignores some unimplemented features and non-conforming PDF files, it will complain about other unimplemented features and non-conforming PDF files.Pdf+ is designed especially for PDA's and Communicators. As PDA's and Communicators are still less powerful than desktop computers, not all PDF functions are available:Pdf+ doesn't handle the dynamic content of a PDF file. Pdf+ cannot render Type 0 and Type 3 fontsPdf+ can only the Symbol and ZapfDingbats fonts if you have installed these fonts on your Symbian PDA.Pdf+ always assumes that the built-in bit map fonts are encoded as code page 1252.Printing with Pdf+ works fine in general, but there are a few things to watch out for:If you have a color printer, Pdf+ will print the page in color, except the bit maps if you use the built-in printer drivers. Third party drivers might allow you to print bit maps in color. When you use the 'Print to PC' printer driver, Pdf+ may run out of memory when printing certain bit maps (those with masks more complicated than a rectangle). In this particular case, you are advised to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to print the PDF file.Pdf+ cannot print embedded fonts.Pdf+ cannot print rotated characters.
