FlashCE is a program created to run on WindowsCE portable devices. The program was created to help students learn and memorize information. The program is designed to use simple text or spreadsheet files to create 'question' and 'answer' cards. These question and answer cards are shown to the student in a random or sequential way to help speed learning. The program includes functions that help the student keep track of performance. New decks of flashcards can be created with programs such as a text editor or spreadsheet program and uploaded to the handheld. New decks can be created that could be used for memorization of mulitplication tables, symbols, grammar, chemistry, physics or many other kinds of information. The flashcard files can be shared freely among students, teachers or friends.
