This patch updates the full version of Rome: Total War to version 1.1. The patch resolves many issues occurring during the multiplayer portion of the game, including a bug involving GameSpy multiplayer maximum lobby population, as well as a reduction in the potency of the Elephant units.

    Until Medieval 2: Total War is released, this may well be the pinnacle of wargames RTSs. An enormous campaign, very different factions with many different challenges, and huge replayability, this game does it all with style and grace. Besides, who wouldn't want to become leader of the ancient world's greatest empire? This can grind practically any other RTS into the dust with its sandals, and then jump on it for good measure.
