Publisher’s description

PDF Magic is an automation system that greatly reduces the time and effort necessary to create complex, interactive PDF documents. This is accomplished by enabling you to build the interactive features into your source doc rather than the finished PDF file. For example, rather than build a Web link to your home page on 64 pages in your PDF catalog, place a Link Graphic once on the source document master page.

The system includes an application that will enable you to convert either Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop EPS graphics into Magic Link Graphics. Place a Link Graphic into a source document (usually a layout file) and distill it into a PDF. Where an EPS in your source doc becomes a picture in the PDF, a Link Graphic will be the picture with a fully functional Link built-in and configured to your specifications. Link Graphics can produce the following types of links: navigation; menu item; Net; and more.

The vision of the future BT portrayed this week at an Australian conference was so far removed from how Telstra's David Quilty has described the British telco that I wonder if they were talking about the same UK.
