Publisher’s description

This tool converts your Macromedia Flash movies into the AVI video format. Its interface is very simple: open the source animation and select Create AVI. You can specify the dimensions and start/end frame numbers, and select the video codec and compression quality. SWF2Video can record the audio track of the SWF file or add sounds from external WAVs. It also supports recording interactive Flash content. The Professional version also supports batch conversion, can convert files to 32-bit RGBA with alpha channel video, and can convert to an PNG and TGA image sequence, also with alpha channel.

  1. Very, very, very, very BAD! Anonymous -- August 19 2005, 16.37

I have a licensed version and it stinks. The 3.0 version lacks many of the good features of the 2.n version even though it fixes many of the bugs of the 2.n version.

The worst part is the 3.0 version will not, absolutely won't, read data saved by the 2.n version. How stupid is that!!! I wan't to create archives of websites (one of the real reasons to buy a product like this), yet it won't read archives made in a previous version of itself.

And the VENDOR doesn't respond to email.

    BackStreet is nothing but BAD!

The vendor is unresponsive and should go out of business. This is not good software by any stretch.
