in brief CSC today announced that it had again re-signed with AMP on a six-year $300 million contract for managed services and additional projects.

$150 million of the contract will go towards managed infrastructure services for mainframe, mid-range, network, desktop, service desk and security.

The additional $150 million over three years will go to CSC for the provision of additional projects and non infrastructure services.

AMP CIO Lee Bennett said the relationship, which has existed for 16 years, continued to achieve savings.

"Our long-standing relationship has set a benchmark not only for CSC but the outsourcing industry in Australia as a whole," Nick Wilkinson, president of CSC's operations in Australia said in a statement.
