    i envy everyone else who is complaining...i have a 256k connection with bigpond and half of the last month its been under 10kbps, it would take an hour and a half to download a 30mb file **** pathetic. i need to get a better connection obviously...should i switch to iinet?

    I have been using your speedtest site to benchmark my Optusnet cable connection for over a year. In the past 3 weeks it has returned painfully slow results (<400kbit/s) whereas speedtest.net has shown normal results (>6000kbit/s).

    Even entering this message has been painful due to slow screen update. What has changed?

Make continuous calls to virgin. refuse to be put thru to "technical department'. demand to speak with the 'supervisor' Insist that 'supervisor' person wait on hold to speak with the tech department and instruct that person to ring you back when he gets thru.. always ring thru to the disconnect complaints department. everyone HAMMER em. This is a campaign of consumer frustration. EVERYONE.

    Virgin mobile "broadband". It is flat out pathetic, I am in South Perth, the dealer showed me the coverage map and assured me this area had "fast speeds". 4 bars signal strength, 92kbps. Yes, 92. WTF? And rest assured, it is frequently a LOT less than that.

    Does this constitute false advertising, breach of contract etc by Virgin? I am not happy with the service.
