statewide wrote 3 Mobile We have 2 3 wireless BB cards. Both work faultlessly, one on a PC the other with a laptop. I also have a Telstra Tubo modem. Both 3 and Telstra need an AERIAL to work in our home office right at the back of a block of units. 3 outperforms Telstra at home -just did a speed test on the Znet BB speed test 1870. Telstra cant get over 1200 -I beleive because of Network contention. Get an Aerial ($30). Forget Voda/Optus -they cant work outside Capital cities. 3 have done a deal with Telstra to hop on the NextG net. 6gb for $39!! Telstra want $119 for a (now this month) 9GB. I too feel the pain everytime the modem connects and fails to deliver the 7.2mgb/s connection it promises. 3 support are TERRIBLE. Its a fight to get them to provide any information and constantly provide sub-standard excuses. Does anyone know if vodafone wireless is any better?
