Indeed. The staff on the help line at Apple suggest 2 ways to go with current Snow Leopard issues. #1 uninstall and #2 wait for a patch, in about a month. That's it. Try it. Simple as that.

    Didn't work Anonymous -- 08/09/09

I got mine and inserted the disk and it just ejects - Apple have told me they will send a new disk - but still waiting. The I life and I work disks work fine although have not tried to install them at this stage. Will see when I get a disk !!!!!!!!

I've had Snow Leopard installed for about a week now, haven't noticed any problems so far.

...what kind of computer do you have it installed on? A run of the mill P.C. or a Apple manufactured machine?
    Thanks

    Snow Vista? Anonymous -- 10/09/09

Anybody else find it funny that Apple invested so much time and money into promoting that Windows Vista 'upgrade' went so badly...and now Snow Leopard falls flat on it's face?

My mates and I (stupidly) 'upgraded' to Snow Leopard the day it came out. A week later, we found ourselves desperately searching for our original Leopard install discs.

Now the $39 price tag seems appropriate.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! 5 STARS

    Snow Leopard - Wellllllllllll Anonymous -- 29/09/09

Snow Leopard, what a diss-appointment! First disc received was faulty and replaced. I have since reinstalled the new O/s twice because of an going BUG problem. Both times the O/s crashed. Time Machine would not recover, iPhoto crashed, and finally the O/s stopped checking for Updates, error message saying the server was unavailable. Everything has been ok for the last 7 days. I plan to run the new MS Windows 7, on my old PC and do an ongoing comparison.

Well, I helped to try out several installs of Snow Leopard on various computer systems and the ONLY one it actually worked on without glitches were the Apple designed and manufactured P.C.s. I know this probably isn't a big help to anyone - but, if you are trying to beat a dead horse with getting Snow Leopard up and functioning without glitches - you have to have an Apple/MacIntosh machine for some reason. I think it may be a good thing going back to the quality of what Apple manufactures - but, probably a Steve Jobs decision to keep Linux and other UNICE's away from his market.

Have you ditched patch Monday? Jock -- 18/10/09

Seems you got bored and stopped making these podcasts - probably a good call!
